A Word about the Quality of our Jewelry

Jewelry plays an important role in the social life of Moroccan women. The silver and copper alloy pendant jewelry, along with such as the beautifully handcrafted Berber hamsas often with Spanish and Arab influences, are reminiscent of the jewelry of medieval Andalusia.

Most of the beadwork is made from stone, wood, ceramic, coral, luban, tree resine (resina) and metal.  A mixture of silver and copper alloys to keep pendants shiny; others are sterling silver. 

Particularly notible in Moroccan jewelry much like many artisan made treasures from this exotic land are the nomadic funky styles combined with a simple, contemporary elegance.
